About the event

We are excited to offer a 5-week reading circle for the book "Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World", by Katharine Hayhoe. As a Canadian climate scientist and evangelical Christian living in Texas, Katharine has a lot of experience bridging divides. She shares with us how to move from polarization toward connection so we can make progress in solving this crucial issue.  We are launching on Thursday, April 7 (4:30-5:30 pm PT / 5:30-6:30 pm MT) and will wrap up on May 5. The reading circle will be hosted on Zoom, but small in-person groups can also join the Zoom session. Click here for more details. Co-sponsored by the West Kootenay Climate Hub and Castlegar United Church. All welcome! For questions or more info, contact Shemmaho at Email or (250) 365-6843. Phone
